Our Story

Anchord was born from one of the hardest seasons of my life.

After making the most difficult decision I had ever faced, I found myself on a plane back to my home state of Wisconsin. I was grieving, heartbroken, and uncertain about what came next. Yet somewhere above the clouds, I realized something profound:

God had never left my side.

In the midst of the storm, He had been faithfully carrying me through it.

The words of Psalm 107:29 came alive in a new way:

“He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.”

As I reflected on God’s faithfulness, another verse came to mind:

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”Hebrews 6:19

I began thinking about turbulent waters, ocean waves, and standing barefoot with my feet in the sand. The image of Christ as an anchor for my soul suddenly felt more real than ever.

I’ve always loved beautiful, delicate jewelry. For years, I had worn bracelets that reminded me of my faith, but I had never found an anklet that carried any worthy meaning. Sitting on that plane, I realized I didn’t just want a durable anklet—I wanted a reminder of the hope that had carried me through the storm.

In that moment, the vision for Anchord began to take shape, and I knew that I wanted to share the journey.

I immediately thought of my sister Amy and my niece Audrey. Not only are we family—we are sisters in Christ. Together, we share a desire to grow deeper in our faith and find meaningful ways to encourage others in theirs.

Anchord is more than a jewelry company; it is a shared mission.

The name itself reflects that mission. We intentionally removed the “e” in Anchored. Anchord isn’t about a moment in the past when we found stability. It’s about a present reality. No matter what season we are walking through, we are Anchord right now—in Christ, in His promises, and in the hope that never fails.

Every Anchord anklet is designed to be worn through real life: through celebrations and setbacks, sunshine and storms, ordinary days and life-changing moments.

And because jewelry often starts conversations, we hope each anklet becomes an opportunity to share the hope we have found in Jesus.
